Competing in the World's Leading Regatta Circuit

Quantum has been involved in every Audi MedCup since its launch in 2005. The event is revered as the world's most competitive racing circuit attracting the very best professional and amateur sailors. In 2011, Quantum Racing will return to the five-regatta circuit in the Mediterranean participating in regattas held successively in Cascais, Marseille, Cagliari, Cartagena and Barcelona (view schedule).

 

An On-the-Water Test Platform

Better than a wind tunnel, Quantum Racing is the ultimate test platform for Quantum's Fusion M® sails and iQ Technology® - our proprietary sail design and manufacturing process. With over 200 hours of sailing each year in a full range of wind and sea conditions on all points of sail, the MedCup provides the most controlled way to gather data, verify performance targets and identify areas for improvement. The team's drive for continuous improvement has yielded outstanding results on the water as well, with the team finishing first or second in every Audi MedCup Circuit.

At Quantum we take a sincere interest in helping customers achieve their highest goals by sharing our knowledge. Unlike other teams competing under a shroud of secrecy, Quantum Racing is openly working to advance products and support customers. Other TP52 racing teams using Quantum sails have full access to our sail design team, on-the-water test results, optimization procedures - everything we've learned and developed through our validation testing. Quantum's attention to detail and candidness has attracted the attention of other programs; both Synergy and Iberdrola Team are also equipped with Quantum sails for the 2011 Audi MedCup Circuit.
